I can offer Stress Coaching that can help identify and target the source of your stress. Stress can often be a result of various external pressures that can be difficult to overcome, as well as from one’s own thoughts.
During the course, we start by focusing on reducing the source of the problem which will help you prevent it in future. We work with measures that will help to form new habits that will give the results that are important to you.
Stress Coaching sessions take a starting point in your situation. It is based on a third-generation cognition therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Theory (ACT) as well as Cognitive Psychology, and Positive Psychology. The methodical construction of the course of stress, is based on Bjarne Toftegaard’s evidence-based approach, Prevent Stress.
We will, amongst other things, work on:
Physical activity
Sleep
Mental relaxation
Balancing between work and leisure
Patterns of thoughts
Your values, goals, and expectations
When you begin to feel an improvement, many like to also concentrate on nutrition and exercise, which I can advise you on. It is important to help you reach a balance, physically, mentally, and emotionally. I will support you in a safe framework to help you reduce your stress and discover what is important in your life.
